Yes, you can always re-apply for a Visitor Visa. However, a re-application following a refusal is always a bit more complex given that this refusal remains on your history. Although an immigration officer may not simply refuse a Visitor Visa for the sole reason that you were refused in the past, this nonetheless affects your application. This is why is it important to submit a well prepared Visitor Visa application following a refusal with relevant supporting documentation.
To obtain a Visitor Visa, you need to demonstrate the reasons for your travel to Canada, sufficient funds for your trip as well as evidence that you will return to your home country upon expiration of your Visitor Status. There are many other factors that may positively or negatively affect your Visitor Visa application, and these must be adequately reflected in your request.

Hi, I am an Iranian student in the US, and I applied for Canada tourist visa. I received the biometrics test message and after less than two weeks , when I wanted to go for biometrics, very surprisingly received a REFUSAL message! The reason was lack of sufficient tie to the US, and show my status here with documents such as visa and entry stamp or I-20,however, I uploaded my valid student visa to travel history section and also my new passport which has the homeland security entering stamp to passport section, I also uploaded tuition fee payment for this semester in the financial part of application, beside an extra 20,000 dollars bank statement. I can not understand what might be the problem with my application. I called VAC to figure out the reason ,but they said we are not in charge to answer, but you can reapply, However, as long as, I don’t have any idea for refusal , it is not reasonable to reapply the same application. How can I find a way to understand the reason of reject and reapply.
    Thanks
    Nina

Hi, I applied for my sister’s TRV visa and it got rejected due to travel history, purpose of visit and family ties. She is 26 and is employed in the home country. We provided sufficient proofs that she will go back, e.g., NOC from employer, travel tickets, funds, birth certificate. What can I do here? Can I reapply?

Thank you for your message and I am sorry to hear about this refusal. You can re-apply with better and strong documents but once there is a refusal on the file, all future applications become more complicated. Please send us an email at info@canadaimmigrationlawyers.ca and we will send you further information.
